All the news channels are screaming out loud and it is true, MS Dhoni has tied the knot with Sakshi  Rawat in Dehradun today.

Harbhajan Singh, Ashish Nehra, RP Singh, Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma were among Dhoni’s cricketer friends who were present at the wedding ceremony.

We would like to congratulate Sakshi and Dhoni  and wish them a very happy married life.

December 6, 2009 morning: Harbhajan gets Murli caught behind thus ending Srilanka’s innings and giving India a win by 24 runs and an innings. The win resulted in India rising to #1 ranking in test cricket!

Now that the euphoria has settled down a little, one needs to think as to what took a cricket crazy nation so many years to reach this position? It is all due to the magical leadership of Dhoni or able guidance of Gary Kirsten or the new more aggressive team India? I am sure most of you will agree that it is a combination of all the above and plenty more. We have some great cricketing brains in the Indian team, the likes of Sehwag, Tendulkar and Dravid whose contribution is also a big factor in this.
