In a match which say hail storms stoppig it during the second innings, Chennai Super Kings won by Duckworth-Lewis rule. they were supposed to have scored 52 and they were at 55 for no loss (thus winning by 3 runs)
Earlier, Kolkata Knight Riders did not play that well and could only muster a score of 149 in 20 overs. Shahrukh Khan was present as always.

Earlier MS Dhoni suffered some minor injury and had to go off the field for sometime. Parthiv Patel kept the wickets and Dhoni later returned to filed in the outfield.
